The latest from pop sensation Lady Gaga is just as strange as everything she’s ever done. In an interview that aired on the CW, MTV writes, the Grammy winner sat down with fashion icon Jean-Paul Gaultier to have a frank discussion about the early days of her career.

The “Bad Romance” singer is set to perform for former president Bill Clinton at a celebration for The William J. Clinton Foundation, and she may choose put on a toned-down version of her usual over-the-top show. But in the weeks between now and then, the 25-year-old star’s probably going to continue to shock with her outrageous antics and anecdotes like the ones featured in the CW network special.
In that CW special, the costume-loving musician admitted that her past was full of drug use and partying, including using drugs in her parents’ house while they were at home. The breaking point was when the singer’s father caught up with her after using, embarrassing her and inspiring her to quit.

Though Gaga’s kicked the drug habit, she still loves to dabble on the dark side of fashion. But even though she’s know for maximum makeup and ridiculous wigs, the star took time to pose in minimal makeup and with simple hair for a shoot with Harper’s Bazaar. The photos show a softer side of Gaga – one that the “Judas” singer says her fans don’t have to worry about seeing too often. She doesn’t plan to start dressing like a regular person anytime soon.
In fact, fans can look forward to some seriously flashy style when Gaga performs on Dick Clark’s “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” special. But since New Year’s is a while away, fans will have to settle for Lady GaGa’s latest video, “You and I,” to get their crazy costume fix. The video features a fictional romance with actor Taylor Kinney, and some have speculated that Gaga and the hunky “The Vampire Diaries” star have taken their romance into the real world. A source tells Access Hollywood that the two, who met on the video shoot, are getting serious.
